The Daytona Beach Turkey Run is one of the best car shows in the country. From Wednesday through Sunday of the Thanksgiving weekend every November, the Daytona International Speedway is filled with over 4500 hot rods, custom cars, muscle cars, and antique cars from 1980 and earlier. Hundreds of venders offer everything from old or new car parts, clothing, posters, ceramics, or that special widget for your model T that you haven’t found in years. Fans will find many cars for sale and owners are usually willing to make a deal.

    The event offers participants games, door prizes on Friday and Saturday, and a giveaway  car on Saturday night.  The 2008 giveaway car was a beautiful 1965 Chevy Nova SS.

    While you enjoy all the events at the speedway track during the day, your evening can be spent on the beautiful Daytona Beach where many fine hotels offer great accommodations. And when not at the track,

Many  Car enthusiasts find a chair and sit in front of their hotel on Florida’s A1A highway and just watch the parade of special cars drive by.
